TomTom Dell’Aringa is the writer, creator and artist behind Marooned. He’s loved comics since childhood, and he’s always dabbled around with writing and drawing characters. He grew up reading Peanuts, Shoe, Mother Goose & Grimm and any other good comic he could read in the daily papers. He also spent plenty of time with his nose buried in Marvel and DC comics, as well as fun stuff like Disney comics, Groo and even Mad magazine.

Marooned is the result of Tom’s decision to see what it would be like to draw a comic; basically just for the fun of it. The fun has continued and Marooned has grown in popularity and size to the point where co-founding a publishing company like WishTales seemed like a sensible next step.

OgSteve Ogden isn’t nearly so clever as he’d have you believe. Sure, he’s the creator of Moon Town, Cubicle Pigs and Croaker’s Gorge. Sure, he’s the creator of the award-winning animated film Flakes. But when it comes right down to it, isn’t he just another artist / writer / animator / illustrator trying to tell a science fiction story in his spare time while living it up in Maryland’s wine country? Sheesh. He’s practically a walking cliché.

He decided on a whim one day that he and Tom had whole minutes of free time left at the end of the day, and that co-founding a publishing company to help get all the voices – I mean, ideas – out of his head, would be just the thing to fill up that extra time.

abouteddiesmEddie Pittman grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where he taught himself how to draw in the back row of math class. He began his animation career with Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida working on Mulan, Tarzan, Fantasia 2000, The Emperor’s New Groove and Lilo & Stitch.

He has taught for the Computer Animation program at Ringling School of Art and Design and his popular drawing classes taught around Central Florida have been recommended to aspiring animators by Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida, Artist Development.

After years in the animation industry, he’d decided to break out into the lucrative world of webcomics. Red’s Planet is his first graphic novel.

Eddie currently resides in Orlando, Florida with his beautiful wife, Beth, and his brilliant daughter Ginny.
